As we all know, soldering companies will emit a large amount of fumes and harmful
gases during processing, these harmful fumes and gas will affect the health of
processed products and soldering workers, so Pure-Air strongly recommends to
equip solder fume purifiers.
Commonly used solder materials are:
Tin (Sn) is a silver-white, shiny, ductile, brittle metal that is not
easily oxidized in the air, and its melting point is 2320C.
Since pure tin is brittle and can melt with most metals to form alloys, in
order to make tin-based solders tough and reduce the melting point, they must be
melted with another metal to improve the soldering performance of tin
solders.
Lead (Pb) is a blue-gray, soft, dense, ductile, toxic, and easily oxidized
metal in the air. Its melting point is 3270C. But lead is a good additive for
tin solder. When it is melted and mixed with tin in proportion, the commonly
used "lead-containing solder" is obtained.
This kind of ‘lead-tin solder’ has a lower melting point, is conducive to
low temperature soldering, can be easily combined with most metals (ie: easy to
solder), and has low price, good conductivity, and reliable solder joints.
These solder materials mentioned above should melt at a high temperature
during solder processing and generate toxic and harmful gases. If it is not
removed in time at the moment of volatilization, it will cause more smoke in the
solder processing workshop over time. Affect the production efficiency and
product quality of the staff, and even more affect the health of the soldering
personnel. Therefore, it is very necessary to equip a solder fume extractor for
the health of the staff and for the efficient solder processing.
Pure-Air is a manufacturer of solder fume purifiers with more than 10 years
of experience. Each piece of equipment will be packaged and shipped only after
strict monitoring and qualification. Welcome all major companies to our factory
for consultation, visit and guidance.
