FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Before selecting the equipment, please provide the laser equipment type, equipment processing width, processing materials, average daily working hours, and other parameters. Our team will then recommend a customized dust and fume extraction system tailored to your industrial needs.

If the processing material is flammable metals such as aluminum-magnesium alloy or titanium alloy, or there are flammable gases in the workshop, an explosion proof dust collector must be selected. For other scenarios, standard dust collectors and fume extractors from PURE-AIR can be used safely.

Smoke from laser processing of metal materials requires a spark arrester combined with a flame retardant filter element; smoke from plastic or wood materials is recommended to use a multi-stage filtration design; high-humidity smoke requires a moisture-proof configuration. PURE-AIR’s industrial fume collector ensures efficient filtration and long-term durability in all these scenarios.

Use and replacement of filter elements

The replacement cycle depends on the processing frequency and material type. PURE-AIR's industrial size air purifier is equipped with a filter status monitoring system, allowing users to easily know when the dust and fume collector requires replacement.

Rapid blockage can result from pre-treatment failure (e.g., sparks not intercepted), excessive smoke concentration, or high humidity causing particle agglomeration. Ensuring the pre-filtration system matches the working conditions is crucial for fume extraction units to operate efficiently.

Only metal sintered filter elements can be cleaned a limited number of times. HEPA or PTFE coated filter elements cannot be cleaned, as forced flushing may damage the structure of the dust and fume extraction system.

PURE-AIR's latest PIPS purification system provides real-time display of filter usage, status alerts, and early replacement reminders, ensuring the industrial fume collector maintains high efficiency.

Voltage and compatibility & Control and operation

Standard models support 220V single-phase electricity, and high-power equipment requires 380V three-phase electricity. Export models can be customized to single-phase 110V or three-phase 220V, 400V, 415V, 440V, supporting international applications for air purifiers for industries.

The basic model supports key panel control. Smart models support I/O remote start/stop, RS-485 control, and MES system integration, allowing centralized management of multiple dust collectors and fume extractors.

PURE-AIR’s PIPS system has a built-in sensor to monitor filter status in real time, automatically adjusting fan speed to maintain optimal air volume, maximizing performance of the fume extrator.

RS485 networking allows centralized start/stop and coordinated air volume control, ideal for large workshops with multiple explosion proof dust collectors working together.
